Mitchell Care & Rehab is located in McAlester, OK. We have a long history of providing excellent care to area residents by giving them a safe and secure environment. We are Empowering Better Living for each resident. We welcome all to visit and tour. At Mitchell Care & Rehab, our goal is to provide individual care to improve the life of each resident. Our staff is trained to provide personal care for each resident. We encourage each person to work towards independence as much as possible. The skilled nursing department is a wonderful way to improve the independence of each resident. Our therapists are trained to work with the geriatric population utilizing the latest technology in our treatments. We’re glad you’re here.

What We Have To Offer

Our professional and certified staff is available 24 hours a day to assist with your individual needs. Our family includes a physician, and a team of geriatric rehabilitation specialists such as Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists.

Our staff, with your involvement, coordinate a plan of care unique for each individual resident. This cooperative approach, combined with a warm, home-like atmosphere, enables each individual to achieve their maximum potential and promote their independence. Our nursing professionals assist each family with counseling and discharge planning services.

Mitchell provides Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services to help improve you or your loved ones quality of life by increasing and promoting independence.

Private & Semi-Private Rooms and Relaxing Common Areas

Our residents enjoy private and semi-private rooms in a safe, loving and clean environment which can be decorated with personal belongings. Housekeeping services are provided for each resident. Laundry Services are available, upon request, for our residents at no additional charge. In addition, the facility includes several spacious and inviting common areas.

Security Cameras

We have on-site security cameras for additional protection. The number of retirees living in group or nursing homes has risen consistently for a number of years, increasing the need for security. Surveillance systems are an easy and effective way to keep our residents safe from theft, vandalism and unwanted intruders.

Recreational Areas

Attractive common areas encourage socialization, and a secure courtyard provides safe paths for walking outdoors.

Private telephone connections are also available and we also now offer free guest wireless internet.
